One of the many spooky instrumental tracks composed by S. J. for the Ember Days OMPS, "Winter's Ritual" was written for a scene in the Ember Days film: the Winter Queen chooses her Knight, but not without a proper sacrifice.

From S. J.:
"I chose this track for the Witchy Ways mix tape for several reasons. One, Halloween is, for many of us, the true start of wintertime. It's when the leaves have really started to turn, the cold winds are blowing, and we can almost feel the balance of power shifting between Summer and Winter. It's the between-times that are the most magical for me, and the most dangerous. Autumn and Halloween are certainly part of that, and you don't get much more dangerous, or witchy, than the Winter Queen."
